When it comes to Fashion Week, each year we see the designer’s focus shift further onto the front row – as the street style crowd become almost as important as the show catwalk itself. In fact, a report coming out from marketing and analytics company LaunchMetrics yesterday found Chiara Ferragni herself generated almost as much media impact value as the top-ranking brand at Milan Fashion Week (Versace) during the SS 2019 collection showings.
On top of that, the report also discovered Ralph Lauren received the most media impact value across the entire SS 2019 season due mostly to influencers – who were found to deliver 46.2 per cent of the brand’s social buzz throughout the week. That’s a whole lot of buzzing.
When you look at these stats, it just makes sense that designers are clamouring to get their garments on their stylish guest list. Which in turn, makes the street style game gain our entire attention (and, for the most part, our applause).
Below, we bring to you our top 10 favourite Instablogger looks from the New York Fashion Week Fall 2019 collection shows.
