We’ve all seen them on our Instagram feed – the press trips where a bunch of influencers are brought together to help launch a brand’s new campaign. The clothes, the locations, the dinners, the cocktails… it looks like a WHOLE lot of fun. But is it all as good as it looks to be? Well… if Finders Keepers’ recent trip in conjunction with Quay Australia and Moroccanoil is anything to go by… then seems like it.
In celebration of their 10th birthday, last week saw Finders Keepers host 6 influencers at the Mandala House in Canggu, Bali for four days – and we’ve got to admit, just taking a peek at their below schedule had us getting a little jealous.
With Taylor LaShae and Francis Lola flying in from LA, Matilda Djerf from Sweden, and Dominique Elissa, Saasha Burns, and Laura Jade Stone all arriving from Australia – we spoke to Australian Fashion Labels Public Relations and Events Executive Lauren Koelmeyer to find out just what happened when the girls got together for the #FindersMoments getaway…

DAY 1
“All the girls arrived on the Thursday and were each shown to their own private room with a wardrobe filled with pre-selected Finders Keepers pieces. Each room had its own bathroom which included an outdoor jungle bath! The first night we hosted a welcome dinner, some cocktails and a beautiful BBQ at the house for everyone to settle in and get to know each other.

DAY 2
Day 2 saw us all head to Café Organic in Canggu in the morning where we enjoyed the most picturesque and tasty smoothie bowls. We walked down to the local markets and had a little shop before our pamper time began at Spring Spa in Canggu. Post massage everyone was very relaxed and the girls had a few hours of free time to unwind, create their own content, or lay by the pool. In the evening we made our way up to Uluwatu for a clifftop sunset dinner at Ulu Cliffhouse. The dinner was perfect and by the end of it we had all felt like we had known each other for a lifetime.

DAY 3
Day 3 started with breakfast at the beautiful Cabina restaurant in Canggu, followed by a few more hours of free time before we headed to Nusa Dua to board JEMME – our private yacht for the day. Once we all boarded the yacht, the music was playing, wind blowing, and all girls with a drink on hand dancing away to the sunset in front of us. After a few hours on the yacht, our stomachs were growling so we made our way to Italian restaurant DA MARIA in Seminyak, followed by a few more cocktails and dancing till morning at Motel Mexicola.

DAY 4
On our final day, we all shared one last breakfast together at The Mandala House. The rest of the day allowed for one last dose of free time to enjoy and explore Bali. Some girls played by the pool the entire day to soak up some last minute sun, others headed into town for more shopping and massages. In the evening we set off for the airport and said our goodbyes – with one last toast to an incredible 4 days in paradise!”

COMPETITION WINNER
To help celebrate the Finders Keepers brand getaway, we teamed up with Finders Keepers to give one luck winner a $200 voucher to help them discover their very own #FindersMoments. Congratulations to Danni Sparkes for winning the prize!
