Theyβve nailed the female market. In fact, the first collection in March 2016 sold out within hours. Now, P.E Nation co-founders Pip Edwards and Claire Tregoning are setting their sites wider – with news the brand is set to make a move into the realm of menswear.
Teasing into the market via a street-sport collection this October, the complete menβs collection will be arriving in January next year – and weβre preparing ourselves for the onslaught of men decked out βClub Sportβ-style.
Discussing the brand extension, Edwards reveals: βWe never intended for P.E Nation to only be for women. Itβs a tomboyish brand with roots anchored in menswear. The desire to deliver to men what we deliver to women β effortless, comfortable, functional, everyday wear – this has always been our vision.
βWe have weekly requests from men asking for it – and already have male customers who purchase our outerwear and sweats. Itβs an exciting opportunity for the business. Menswear will be available as part of our October drop and will officially launch in January 2018 with an all round, active, street-sports range that perfectly compliments P.E Nation womenswear.β
Adding to this, Tregoning jumps in: βOur October collection, Club Sport, will be the beginning of a new nation β a bigger nation, a united nation, a nation of men and women.β
