C’est Vogue’s Jessie Habermann became Jessie Murphy on December 30, with the fashion, beauty, travel and lifestyle blogger marrying AFL footballer star Marc Murphy at a stunning rooftop ceremony at Luminare in South Melbourne.
The bride was decked out in two different dresses created by Melbourne bridal couturier Oglia-Loro – a strapless gown for the ceremony and a form-fitting dress for the reception. With both dresses taking four months to create, the ceremonial dress featured hand-sewn beads and pearls with “200 metres of organza, 200 metres of tulle, and 70 metres of silk organza”, according to the Daily Mail. Bridesmaids wore black dresses created by Melbourne designer Elle Askari.
Not to be outdone by the dress(es), Jessie’s hand also sparkled with a cushion-cut solitaire diamond ring accompanied by a diamond band ring – both designed by Anton Jewellery. Melbourne Stylists event planners Bianca and Bridgett Roccisano helped the couple plan the wedding, with styling assisted by Blossoming Empire.
Below we take a look at snapshots from the perfect day.
