After getting engaged in Vancouver in August last year, this weekend saw In The Frow blogger and YouTuber Victoria Magrath marry long-term boyfriend Alex Harrison at Château du Bijou in a picturesque wedding in Provence, France.
Wearing a strapless full length dress designed by Phillipa Lepley with a long train and Jimmy Choo shoes, Alex looked equally sharp beside Victoria in his Ted Baker suit. Makeup was created by Nikki Makeup, while Victoria’s hair was styled by Larry King.
Posting about the day on Instagram, Victoria wrote: “The most perfect day of my life, The day I became his wife. 31/08/19 💍”, while Alex also posted a message to his IG account: “Yesterday I married my best friend. 31/08/19 🖤”.
Held in the grounds outside the Château in front of a flower arch designed by All For Love, London, the wedding planning was organised by events agency The Lobster Collective. Popular lifestyle bloggers were in attendance to watch Victoria and Alex tie the knot, including Leonie Hanne, Lydia Millen and husband Ali Gordon, and Carly Rowena.
While the wedding was obviously the main event, guests also enjoyed a black and white party on the evening before the wedding and a pool party on the day of the wedding before the festivities kicked off.
So does it rival Chiara Ferragni’s Coachella-inspired lavish wedding in Sicily? Maybe more demure, but definitely as captivating.
