We first came across Leila Dee Thomas (of Instagram account @Leidee) early last year when we interviewed her on the back of her Cotton On Body campaign with Cross and Bone’s Zoe Cross. Since then, we’ve continued to follow her adventures around the world as she delivers content from places as far flung as Scotland to Bali and Portugal to New York City.
A lover of both surfing and nature, the 25-year-old never strays too far from the ocean – a factor that means she’s also none too short of a bikini. And while the thought of constantly being snapped in a bikini would have us running for a strict diet of water and black coffee, Leila keeps everything a little more realistic – instead opting for a eating regime that consists of a healthy dose of fruit and vegetables.

First thing
Wake up and have a lemon water followed by a hemp latte. I need that little espresso kick to get moving.
Breakfast
I love fruit in the mornings. Mango, papaya, pineapples, kiwis, watermelon… it’s all good.
Lunch
Lunch time I’ve got a hankering for the greens. I love a hearty salad halfway through the day because it fills you up but doesn’t leave you tired around 3pm.
Dinner
Dinner is when I get creative. I’ve been known to make a good spaghetti squash!
