The Blonde Salad fashion blogger and influencer Chiara Ferragni doesn’t do things by halves. Which always meant that her wedding was going to be one spectacular event. But spectacular doesn’t event touch the edges of her extravagant Italian wedding to rapper Fedez. A palace, 3 custom-made Christian Dior Haute Couture dresses, a private plane for guests, and to top if off – a personalised theme park and concert… the #TheFerragnez wedding had it all.
The night before the nuptials, guests were flown over to Noto, Sicily on private Alitalia flights where they were greeted by large cartoon versions of the couple. That night, a rehearsal dinner was held at Noto Bassi di Palazzo Nicolaci where friends and family joined Chiara and Fedez for a traditional Italian dinner. Chiara wore a glittering custom-made Prada cocktail dress for the evening, with the meal followed up by dancing, a dj, and Fedez getting his shirt off with the fellas.
The next day it was time for the main event – with Chiara posting to Instagram in the morning: “Last night was a dream.. And the best is yet to come ? Today is The Day ??”. Held outside at the secluded Palazzo Nicolaci di Villadorata palace, Chiara walked down the aisle accompanied by her father Marco Ferragni. Wearing a custom-made Christian Dior Haute Couture dress created by Maria Grazia Chiuri, Chiara’s son Leone was also decked out in baby Dior while the bridesmaids wore custom pink Alberta Ferretti dresses.
The ceremony itself was held amongst an abundance of white roses, hydrangeas and greenery, with both Chiara and Fedez reading vows they’d penned themselves. Smoke bombs went off as Fedez kissed Chiara, and then the two departed for Chiara to get changed into her second look for the day – a custom-made Christian Dior ball gown featuring meaningful personalised sayings.
After the reception dinner and dancing, it was time for the third look for the evening – with Chiara changing one last time into a ballet-inspired mini dress by Dior. And while post-dancing is normally the time guests are sent home (or on to the nightclub), this was not the case for Chiara and Fedez – with the two ending the festivities with a Coachella-inspired amusement park (custom-made again!) featuring a ferris wheel, carousel, a finale fireworks display, and a performance by Fedez himself.
That’s Amore.
